Lowkita is a Vancouver-based recording artist, producer, and creative whose work lives at the intersection of Hip Hop, R&B, Caribbean culture, music, fashion, and visual storytelling. With over 15 years of performing experience, she has built a reputation for bringing raw energy, personality, and authenticity to everything she creates.

Lowkita’s sound pulls from Hip Hop, R&B, and her Caribbean roots, while taking heavy inspiration from the UK music scene — from Grime and Drill to Dubstep, bass music, and everything in between. The result is a sound that feels gritty, rhythmic, bass-heavy, and uniquely her own.

Since releasing her debut EP Rude in 2016, Lowkita has continued to evolve as an independent artist, producer, and creative. Her catalogue includes singles, instrumental projects, remixes, and collaborations that reflect her constant desire to experiment and push her sound forward.

Her journey has taken her across Western Canada, performing at festivals and events including Sled Island, Rifflandia, Safe and Sound Festival, BreakOut West, Calgary Stampede, Carifest Calgary, and Ethnik Festival. Along the way, she has worked with artists, producers, creatives, and organizations across music and culture, continuing to build community through collaboration.

Now, Lowkita is entering a new era with her upcoming project WhyteTee. The project explores themes of starting over, love, motherhood, growth, and navigating the world around her, while bringing together the different sides of her sound and identity as an artist. Whyte Tee represents a new chapter — one rooted in experience, independence, and the freedom to create on her own terms.

Beyond her own releases, Lowkita continues to collaborate across music, fashion, visual art, and creative production. Whether she’s behind the mic, behind the boards, DJing, developing a visual concept, or building something from the ground up, she approaches every project with the same energy: create boldly, stay authentic, and make something that feels like her.

With WhyteTee on the horizon and new collaborations in the works, Lowkita is stepping into her next chapter with more clarity, confidence, and creative freedom than ever before.
